As the popularity and accessibility of coffee has increased, the options seem to be endless. This is good news for you, the coffee drinker!
At Birch River Coffee, we tout that most of our coffees are 'Single-Origin', so what does that mean?
Simply put, single origin coffee is sourced from a specific area or region and not mixed with other beans, referred to as 'blends'.
Single origin coffees possess a unique flavor profile that gives. you a distinct coffee experience.
Here are a few of our favorite, find your favorite or try out a few to create a true coffee adventure.
Rwanda - This central African sourced coffee is complex and crisp. Features fruity notes and traces of sugar and caramel. Good acidity and not bitter, definitely one of our favorites.
Costa Rica - One the most popular Central American coffees, Costa Rica coffee features notes of brown sugar with notes of tropical fruit. With a bright acidity, this coffee is great go-to favorite!
Laos - This Asian favorite is smooth and balanced. Grown in the high plateaus of Laos, in volcanic soil, which creates full flavor and a very drinkable coffee. Definitely worth a try!
